As a software engineer, I figured this out a few years back to pull images out of a game–you can also change the images themselves and zip them back up–I’ve done it a few times.
It is not unusual for a program to use Zip files; often you just need to rename the file extension. Thanks for the post, I’d bet a lot of people will find it useful.
