Getting the Tracking Board Tracking Tracks Back on Track

Combat Commander: Europe is of course the best game ever created. Best solo game. Best wargame. Best game period (BGG ratings and tankophiles not withstanding). So I finally broke it out to play again and remembered the one thing (GASP) I didn’t particularly care for and that’s the oversized tracking board. Not a flaw, mind you — the game has none. It’s probably good when playing co-dependently with another player, but for playing solo, I wanted something more compact. Sad News For the Gaming Community

News from Kai Jensen tonight: He’s gone. His passing was quick and his struggle is over. His mind was clear to the end and he knew he was loved and would be missed. Organization Procrastination

One thing I like to do to get familiar with a game is to organize the components. This is a gamble that sometimes fails if the game turns out to be a dud.
